Packing and Forklift - 2nd Shift

Overview:

As a Packer, you will be a vital part of our production process, ensuring that our products are packaged accurately and safely for delivery to our customers. Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately package finished products according to specifications and ensure they are prepared for shipment.
• Inspect products for quality and compliance before packaging, reporting any defects or issues to the supervisor.
• Use appropriate packing materials and techniques to protect products during transportation.
• Label packages correctly and maintain accurate packing records.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized packing area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines and production goals.
• Participate in training sessions and safety meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous packing or warehouse experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or defects.
• Knowledge of packaging materials and techniques is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to bend, reach, and perform physical labor as necessary.
• Must be comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures.
