Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nJob Summary \nSet up and/or operate/tend machines to paint tanks for power transformers. \n\n\n \nJob Responsibilities \n\u2022 Perform tasks in various work centers, including the 4-stage washer, paint booth, and prime booth. \n\u2022 Manually apply paint to units, ensuring even coverage and adherence to quality standards. \n\u2022 Mix paint according to specified requirements. \n\u2022 Check paint logs to measure paint and hardener levels. \n\u2022 Perform routine adjustments, cleaning, and maintenance on equipment and the paint booth. \n\u2022 Flush equipment at every break to prevent paint from hardening in the line. \n\u2022 Correct paint runs, spots, and chips by sanding down imperfections before repainting. \n\u2022 Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization. \n\u2022 Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals. \n\u2022 Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures. \n\u2022 Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nEducation level required \n\n\u2022 No education required.\n\nYears and area of experience required \n\n\u2022 Relevant experience preferred.\n\nTechnical knowledge \n\n\u2022 Ability to perform basic mathematical functions as required. \n\nPhysical Requirements \n\n\u2022 Lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, grabbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and using both hands to lift and lower materials, with or without accommodations.\n\nEnvironmental Factors \n\n\u2022 Adhere to proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as outlined below: \nHand/Arm \nGloves \nOver the Elbow Sleeves \nEye/Face \nGoogles/Gasketed Safety Glasses \nPainter Hood \nEar \nEar plugs \nRespiration \nHalf Face Respirator \nFoot \nSteel Toe \nMetatarsal Guards \n\u2022 Work efficiently in hot environments and tolerate loud noises.\n\n## Skills:\n\nSoft skills \n\n\u2022 Demonstrates effective communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and a positive work ethic, comprehends written and verbal work instructions accurately, and upholds Eaton\u2019s Values and philosophy.\n\n#IND123\n\n#IND456\n\n#LI-KM1\n\n#LI-RR2\n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
