Page Flow Specialist

BridgeTower Media is seeking a full-time Page Flow Specialist for the production and creative department, StudioBTM. This is a hybrid office/work-from-home position. The ideal candidate would need to live in the St. Louis, MO area.

StudioBTM is an internal, shared services hub for BridgeTower properties. We provide various services to editorial, marketing, sales, circulation, and event teams.

The Page Flow Specialist is responsible for project coordination and daily production management, keeping daily page production on schedule, building pages, placing ads, and working as part of a team by following a consistent, repeatable process. They fulfill a critical role in creating public notice and classified pages for all the BTM newspapers nationwide.

The right candidate has strong time management and organizational instincts. They are quick on their feet, adept at juggling multiple assignments in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment, and work well within an established daily process. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, curious, and a team player with good critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Familiarity with InDesign required, but Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat as well as print and prepress processes is a plus. We are happy to train the right candidate on our specific tools and process.

Duties + Responsibilities:

- Composes Public Notice and classified pages on a consistent daily schedule

- Manages and meets daily production deadlines

- Ensures all notices and ads are properly placed on the pages following established templates

- Follows a repeatable quality check process, checking files for accuracy and quality before they go to press

- Coordinates and communicates with printers and other vendors

- Uploads pages to press

Skills + Requirements:

- Working quickly, accurately and under strict daily deadlines

- Strong time management and task prioritization skills to manage multiple daily assignments

- Comfortable following a consistent, repeatable daily workflow and checklists

- Works well independently in a deadline-sensitive, publishing environment

- Communicates effectively and responsively with internal and external stakeholders

- Cross functional communication with sales

- Comfortable picking up new tools and processes as our business evolves

- Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite software 

- Home internet connection with a minimum of 50 mbps up / 10 mbps down
