Painter 3 (2nd Shift)

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Must be able to mix and measure paint per specifications.


• Review work order and confirm mixed paint and part match, prior to painting in booth


• Clean parts as per specification Paint part according to specification and thickness


• Keep paint booth filters changed, booth FOD free and complete paperwork.


• Post paint inspection of parts for appearance and proper coverage.


• Able to paint effectively on different surfaces and metals


• Applies some advanced skills that allow employee to adapt and meet some complex or non-routine situations


• Observe safety regulations and wear protective masks and clothing during spray painting operations.


• Complete the paint daily checklist.


• Properly utilizes all PPE required under OSHA Guidelines.


• Maintains all paint equipment.


• Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Preferred 
Experience: 7 plus years of experience in Aircraft Painting, Top Coat, Prime Painting in a plating /processing company 

Other Physical Requirements
•Vision (Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth)
•Sense of Sound - Able to hear normal audio range
•Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - All required
