Accurate Forklift is looking for a motivated, hard-working individual that wants more than just a job — someone that wants to learn a craft and build a long-term career.

Established in 1999, Accurate Forklift is the largest independent forklift dealer in the state of Georgia. Based in East Point, we continue to grow and are looking for the right person to grow with us.

This is an entry-level position working directly alongside an experienced equipment painter with over 30 years in the trade. He takes pride in his work and expects the same from the person learning beside him.

Starting pay is $16/hour, with review upon successful completion of the 90-day probationary period.

What You’ll Learn & Do

You’ll start by learning the foundation of the painting process, including:

• Sanding, scraping, cleaning, masking, and prepping forklifts and parts for paint


• Keeping the paint and prep areas clean and organized


• Washing forklifts and components in the wash bay


• Assisting with painting smaller parts and components


• Learning how to properly paint industrial equipment over time


• Operating forklifts and moving equipment safely


• Helping in other areas of the shop and warehouse as needed


• Assisting with cleanup, organization projects, and general shop upkeep

This is hands-on work in a real shop environment. You’ll work both indoors and outdoors and will stay active throughout the day.

No painting experience required. We can teach the trade to the right person with the right attitude & work ethic.

Skills & Physical Requirements

• Basic mechanical ability preferred


• Ability to lift and handle up to 80 lbs


• Ability to squat, kneel, push, pull, and stand for extended periods


• Ability to follow instructions and accept coaching/correction


• Ability to work independently when needed


• Comfortable working in various shop and weather conditions


• Team-player attitude


• Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE

Schedule

        Full-Time          Monday through Friday        Day Shift - 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
