Overview of Position: 

At Appellation Healdsburg, we are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences, and our facilities play a vital role in that mission. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Painter to join our Engineering & Facilities team. This role is responsible for maintaining the visual excellence of the property through interior and exterior painting, finishing, and surface care.  

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, patching, priming)
• Apply paints, stains, and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
• Maintain guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, and back-of-house spaces
• Perform touch-ups and repairs to ensure a consistently high-end appearance
• Mix and match paints to achieve precise color standards
• Safely operate tools, ladders, lifts, and painting equipment
• Collaborate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to minimize guest disruption
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional painting experience (hospitality or commercial preferred)
• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or elevated platforms
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end residential properties
• Familiarity with finishes, textures, and specialty coatings
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance or facilities work
