TITLE: Painter / Wash Rack Tech

DEPARTMENT: Truck Variable 

REPORTS TO: Fleet Maintenance/Facilities Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

The Painter / Wash Rack Tech, under direction of the Fleet Maintenance/Facilities Manager, ensures that painting of sanitation bins and miscellaneous equipment are completed as required and ensures that the facility and equipment are consistently in a clean, safe state and comply with all company and OSHA standards.

Education and Experience

· High School diploma or equivalent of education and experience, preferred

· Forklift Certification recommended

· Class “C” Drivers License

Essential Functions:

· Knowledge of various painting techniques, materials, and equipment

· Metal surface prep including grinding, filling, and sanding

· Spraying liquid paint

· Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high quality work

 · Ability to convey Tiger Sanitation as the obvious choice for our customers, employees and community

· Familiarity with shop equipment

Working Conditions

This position will be based in a non-climate-controlled building with extended periods of standing, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and using manual dexterity to operate hand tools at different angles, including overhead. This position will require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
