Painters

GovFirst is seeking to hire multiple Painters to support maintenance and repair activities across various locations in Virginia, including Bristol, Culpeper, Fredericksburg, Hampton Roads, Lynchburg, Northern Virginia, Richmond, Salem, and Staunton within the Transportation Operations Division. These painters will be responsible for repainting, touch-ups, and maintenance-related painting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repaint damaged or deteriorated surfaces to maintain facility and infrastructure appearance.
  

• Paint new work installed by other trades or contractors.
  

• Touch up areas requiring maintenance or repair.
  

• Clean and prepare painted areas for finishing and ensure proper upkeep of work sites.
  

• Perform additional maintenance tasks as directed by the Operations Manager or supervisory staff.
  

Requirements

• Experience in painting, surface preparation, and finishing techniques.
  

• Ability to follow safety protocols and operate painting tools and equipment safely.
  

• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
  

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team under supervision.
