Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Painter/Shop Helper to join our Tulsa-based fabrication team. The Painter/Shop Helper will assist with a variety of fabrication, assembly, and finishing tasks, including welding, blueprint interpretation, and quality control. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in metalworking and a commitment to delivering precise, high-quality results.

Job Responsibilities:

• Fabrication: Cut, shape, and weld iron materials to create decorative fences, gates, and railings per design specifications.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and design plans to produce products to exact measurements.
• Welding & Assembly: Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to assemble iron structures with clean, precise welds.
• Metal Shaping: Use metalworking tools (saws, grinders, drill presses, etc.) to cut, smooth, and shape materials.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and safety compliance, ensuring adherence to company and customer standards.
• Installation Assistance: Assist with installation of fabricated iron products, ensuring proper fit and function.
• Material Management: Maintain an organized work environment, manage inventory, and order materials as necessary.
• Safety: Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE while handling equipment and materials.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a fabricator in iron, steel, or metalworking.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, metal shaping, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with metalworking tools and machinery.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus).
