Painting Project Consultant (PPC)

The Role:
At Fresh Coat, “Painting Done Right” is our promise. As a Painting Project Consultant (PPC), you are the face of our company for new clients. Your job is to meet with homeowners and business owners, understand their needs, and create the initial roadmap for their project. You will report directly to the Painting Project Consultant Manager (PPCM).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• On-Site Surveys: Visit project sites to take measurements and assess the scope of work.
• Estimating: Use Fresh Coat’s branded software to draft initial labor and material costs.
• Customer Proposals: Present project options and timelines to customers in a clear, friendly way.
• Lead Follow-Up: Stay in touch with prospective clients to answer questions and help them move forward with their projects.
• Team Coordination: Pass detailed project notes to the Production Manager and Crew Leader to ensure the job is started correctly.
• Record Keeping: Keep digital records of all site visits and customer communications updated daily.
• Networking: Help find new business through local networking and community outreach.

Requirements:

• 2 or more years of sales or customer service experience.
• Strong math and measurement skills for accurate estimating.
• High energy and a professional appearance.
• Very detail-oriented (you don't miss the small things).
• Must be comfortable using tablets and estimating software.
• Willingness to complete a background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the in person sales presentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage a daily schedule of multiple site visits.
