We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Paintshop Helper! The ideal candidate will have some previous painting experience and be familiar with using a grinder for surface preparation.
This position is a great fit for someone with basic hands-on experience who takes pride in quality work, follows safety procedures, and is willing to learn.
Responsibilities
Perform surface preparation before painting, including grinding and removing imperfections.
Safely operate a grinder and other basic tools used for surface preparation.
Assist with painting tasks to ensure an even, quality finish.
Clean and prepare surfaces by removing rust, debris, and excess material as needed.
Inspect work to ensure surfaces are properly prepared and meet quality expectations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all workplace safety guidelines and proper equipment-handling procedures.
Qualifications
Some previous painting experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of grinder operation and surface preparation.
Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team.
