Panel Operator – Panel Shop

The Panel Operator sets up and operates routers and cutting equipment to process panel orders according to customer specifications. This role is responsible for machine setup, material handling, quality checks, and moving completed orders to the next stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  Set up, operate, and shut down routers and cutting equipment

  
  


• 
  

  Select and prepare proper materials for each order

  
  


• 
  

  Inspect finished panels to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met

  
  


• 
  

  Read and interpret blueprints to complete orders correctly

  
  


• 
  

  Transport finished products to shipping

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate with leadership and assist with troubleshooting

  
  


• 
  

  Support cross-training within the Panel Shop

  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 
  

  High school diploma or GED

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to read blueprints and use mics, calipers

  
  


• 
  

  Strong basic math skills

  
  


• 
  

  Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

  
  

Preferred:

• 
  

  Experience cutting metal or plastic panels
