Job description
A multi-state creditors' rights law firm based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, seeks an experienced Senior Paralegal to assist with its consistently growing practice.
Applicant will be responsible for preparing and processing court pleadings and motions, reviewing accounts for accuracy and completeness, corresponding with courts and garnishees, and processing new accounts.
After a 90-day general legal support training period, this person will also review case files, prepare exhibits, schedule hearings, prepare basic motions, pre-trial statements, and other miscellaneous litigation pleadings.
Good computer skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide a high level of professionalism are important. Candidate must also be organized, hardworking, and committed to learning the interworking of a very specialized field.
Applicants must have at least 3 years of applicable experience.
