Learn more about our benefits. \n\nApplied Materials is seeking an experienced Paralegal V \u2013 Commercial Contracts to support high\u2011volume and high\u2011complexity commercial contracting across the company. This is a senior, expert\u2011level individual contributor role requiring independent judgment, deep commercial contracts experience, and the ability to drive scalable legal processes in a global, matrixed environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Independently draft and negotiate template-based commercial agreements, including customer contracts for sale of Applied equipment and services, supplier contracts, NDAs, SOWs, and amendments.\n * Identify contractual risks, deviations from standard terms, and escalation issues; clearly summarize findings for attorney review.\n * Own end\u2011to\u2011end contract lifecycle activities, including intake, execution workflows, and post\u2011execution management.\n * Serve as a Legal point of contact for designated business teams.\n * Lead or support commercial contracting programs and process improvements, including template updates and workflow optimization.\n * Develop and maintain playbooks, job aids, and training materials related to commercial contracts.\n * Interface directly with internal stakeholders and coordinate with outside counsel and vendors as needed.\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent professional experience.\n * Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal training strongly preferred.\n * 8\u201312+ years of progressively responsible paralegal experience supporting commercial contracts.\n * Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, non\u2011routine agreements.\n * Strong drafting, organizational, and analytical skills.\n * Experience working in a global, fast\u2011paced corporate environment.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Experience supporting technology, manufacturing, or semiconductor businesses.\n * Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and e\u2011signature tools.\n * Experience working with sales, supply chain, and/or procurement organizations.\n * Exposure to regulated commercial environments or export\u2011controlled businesses.\n\n\n\nApplied Competencies\n\n * Exercises sound judgment with confidential and attorney\u2011client privileged information.\n * Communicates effectively with legal and non\u2011legal stakeholders.\n * Operates independently with minimal supervision.\n * Proactively identifies risks and process improvement opportunities.\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\nThis role is an individual contributor position and does not have formal people management responsibility.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nTime Type:\n\nFull time\n\nEmployee Type:\n\nAssignee / Regular\n\nTravel:\n\nNot Specified\n\nRelocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
