Paramedic -Infusionist -LPN

• Estimated duration of coverage needed will be 4-6 weeks. The start date is currently pending.
  


• Work schedule would be part-time. Approx. 30-32 hours weekly.
  

• Responsible for IV insertion, medication preparation and administration, continuous monitoring of infusion patients
  


• Provide education for patients, families members or caregivers as needed, including self-administration of antibiotic therapy
  


• Inventory management associated with infusion services
  


• Maintaining a sterile environment for medication preparation and storage
  


• Perform assessments of patient needs and facilitate engagement with ancillary services or other resources
  


• Management of daily schedules and monitoring of special populations as assigned to promote adherence to therapy
  


• Serve as a resource with other clinical team members in a rapid response
  


• Ensure timely, detailed, and accurate documentation within the EMR
  


• Responsible for daily patient care, coordinating chronic and acute care
  


• Administrative duties pertaining to patient care and patient records
  


• Perform medical testing: EKG, Spirometry, Vital Signs, and collection of laboratory specimens as needed
  


• Responsible for obtaining prior authorizations as needed
  


• Telephonic triage and appropriate routing or management of patient calls
  


• Provide cross coverage for other clinical staff as needed
  


• Other clinical duties as assigned
  

Benefits

Types of infusions administered are primarily IVIG, IV antibiotics and IV fluids. The clinic does not administer iron products, blood transfusions or chemotherapy.

 Licensed RN in the state of GA.
