Uta Halee Academy (UHA) is a female-specific, residential program that offers young women opportunities to build productive and meaningful futures for themselves and their communities. Through rigorous education, skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features residential student dormitories, on-site schooling, a dining hall, and extracurricular opportunities for the students. Pay: Pay range is $18 - $19, depending on education and experience (for example, an individual with a high school diploma and meeting the minimum experience requirements is eligible for $18 hourly)

What you will do: The Paraprofessional is a member of the Education Department team, primarily responsible for providing instructional support to students in subjects such as math, English, and history.

To be considered you should: Be at least 21 years of age ~Experience with instructional support in math, english, or history ~ Have a high school diploma ~ Have related experience working with at-risk youth ages 13-17  ~  Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
