Interim HealthCare is currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic Paraprofessionals to support students within the Derry School District. We are currently hiring for three full-time school-based positions supporting students in a collaborative educational environment. Whether you have experience in education, behavioral support, human services, or simply have a passion for helping others succeed, this is an incredibly rewarding opportunity.

Available Positions

Derry Middle School
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:55 AM – 2:30 PM

Derry Elementary School
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:50 AM – 3:10 PM

Derry DEEP Program
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 2:50 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students throughout the school day.


• Assist students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals as directed by the classroom teacher and school team.


• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.


• Support classroom instruction and encourage student engagement and independence.


• Assist with transitions, classroom activities, and daily routines.


• Communicate effectively with teachers, school staff, and supervisors.


• Maintain student confidentiality and follow school policies and procedures.


• Help students build confidence, independence, and successful learning habits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required


• Previous experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, education, healthcare, or human services is preferred but not required


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Patient, dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented


• Ability to follow classroom and behavioral support plans


• Reliable transportation


• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including assisting students as needed
