We're hiring a full-time W-2 Paraprofessional to provide K–12 school-based services for the 2026–2027 school year. Position Details

• Caseload: 1:1 or small group student support


• Schedule: Monday – Friday


• Hours: 30–40 hours/week


• Dates: August 2026 – May 2027


• Location: Onsite in Garfield Heights, OH schools

Responsibilities

• Assist students with daily living activities, mobility, feeding, and hygiene needs


• Support students in the classroom and during school activities


• Follow care plans and behavior support strategies as directed by staff or medical teams


• Document services and share observations with the support team


• Promote student safety, independence, and dignity


• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and nurses to meet student needs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)


• Experience working with children or students with special needs (preferred)


• Ability to follow medical, behavioral, and personal care protocols


• Dependable, patient, and compassionate, with strong communication and collaboration skills


• Must pass background check and any school-specific onboarding requirements
