Location: The Crestmoor at Green Hills, an Independent Living and Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community
Starting Salary: 59,000/year
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve resident and family concerns and complaints.
- Participate in clinical quality and process improvement initiatives to mitigate risk and improve resident care outcomes.
- Recruit, hire, and train Assisted Living and Memory Care team members, managing performance, evaluation, and engagement.
- Schedule and train personnel, ensuring adherence to state regulatory standards.
- Maintain high staff morale and foster a supportive work environment.
- Address issues and concerns as requested by the Director of Resident Care (DRC).
- Respond to concerns of residents, families, and visitors with immediate and courteous assistance.
- Gather all move-in documentation, including medical and contact information for new residents.
- Provide superior customer service to preserve resident retention.
- Collaborate with Sales partners and DRC to assess potential residents’ appropriateness for move-in.
- Assist with transfers and move-outs.
- Track, trend, and report clinical quality data to identify risk.
- Oversee incident report follow-up investigations and ensure completion of resident status documentation.
- Communicate regularly with other disciplines involved in resident care.
- Complete all assigned duties that may change according to resident needs, staffing levels, and circumstances.
- Participate in the Manager on Duty (MOD) rotation.
- Serve as a member of the community’s emergency response team.
- Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies.
- Maintain adequate supplies and monitor the clinical budget, including labor metrics, to ensure budget compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in an assisted living setting as an AL/MC Manager or Director.
- College Degree required.
- Preferred graduate of an accredited university with a degree in a healthcare-related field.
- Experience in geriatric nursing, emergency care, and first aid preferred.
- If licensed or certified, must maintain valid continuing education credits as required by the state.
- Valid Driver's License and clear driving record that meets the requirements of our insurance carrier.
- Computer proficiency with electronic medical records and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated competence in oral and written communication.
- Organized, attentive to detail, and possessing a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Flexible with changing priorities and able to communicate diplomatically and professionally.
- Flexible in the hours, shifts, and days available to work.
