Job Description - Parish Office Finance & Database Coordinator

Description

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church is seeking a full-time Parish Office Finance & Database Coordinator to serve as the welcoming first point of contact for our parish while providing essential support for parish finances, records, and database management.

This position plays a key role in stewarding parishioner information, contribution records, and sacramental data in support of our parish’s mission and ministries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as receptionist and front-desk coordinator for the parish office
  • Greet visitors and handle incoming calls with warmth and professionalism
  • Maintain parishioner, donor, and sacramental records in the parish database
  • Register new parishioners and complete the parish welcome process
  • Post and reconcile weekly contributions 
  • Assist the Accounting Manager with month-end entries and accounts payable
  • Prepare sacramental certificates and letters as needed
  • Support parish mailings, Mass intentions, and general office operations
  • Assist with office supplies, mail, and administrative tasks

Requirements

  Qualifications

  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to handle confidential financial and sacramental information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Experience working with the public in an office or customer-service setting preferred

Position Details
