We are offering an opportunity for a PART TIME Accounts Payable Clerk position in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This position is crucial in our operations, where you will be responsible for processing invoices, handling vendor communications, and ensuring accurate financial records. The role requires an individual with strong attention to detail and proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately processing invoices in a timely manner
• Regularly reviewing vendor statements and addressing any discrepancies
• Communicating effectively with vendors regarding invoices and payments
• Checking invoices against purchase orders to ensure accuracy
• Processing payments to vendors in accordance with company policies
• Assisting in the annual processing of 1099s
• Ensuring the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records
• Actively participating in the resolution of any issues or discrepancies that may arise in accounts payable processes
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient financial operations.
