Part -Time Client Care Specialist for FYZICAL Sanibel

FYZICAL Sanibel is hiring a Client Care Specialist to join our dedicated team. Our Client Care Specialist is often the first point of contact, tasked with coordinating patient care and providing a seamless experience for new and existing clientele. This role requires exceptional customer service skills in combination with physician liaison and administrative duties, and we will provide training for the right candidate.  We’re an employee-centric business offering on-the-job training, and a diverse and highly inclusive working environment.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Greet patients, visitors, and vendors upon arrival at clinic
  
  


• Collect new patient intake information and track referrals
  
  


• Manage patient scheduling, enter appointment dates and times into computerized scheduler
  
  


• Phone, text, or email appointment reminders
  
  


• Answer phone, respond to voicemail & email inquiries, or direct to appropriate party
  
  


• Coordinate evaluations, appointment reminders, and cancelations
  
  


• Record when appointments have been filled or canceled
  
  


• Upon patient cancelation, inform scheduled therapist reason for cancelation and advise if patient has rescheduled
  
  


• Verify insurance, track covered/non-covered visits, take payments, and ensure that any pre-authorizations are done promptly
  
  


• Communicate with Office Manager regarding appointments and scheduling issues
  
  


• Send paperwork to insurance carriers for coordination of benefits
  
  


• Ensure daily notes and billing codes are completed by each therapist daily and sent to billing company
  
  


• Order equipment and office/medical supplies as needed or directed
  
  


• Use social media platforms to market the clinic
  
  


• Willingness to assist therapist with set-up, clean-up, laundry, and light cleaning in the absence of an aide
  
  


• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Successful Candidates Must Have:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
  
  


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  
  


• Exceptional communication skills
  
  


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  
  


• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  
  


• Ability to work efficiently & effectively in an autonomous environment
  
  


• Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn and help coworkers when necessary
  
  


• Positive and empathetic attitude, willingness to help patients in pain
  
  


• Team player who can work in harmony with others
