Part Time Medical Receptionist - Get Hired Fast

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Medical Receptionist for a busy behavioral health care office in Chapel Hill!

This is a part time, temp to perm position.

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 10am to 3pm.

Pay: $18-$20/hour

Job Duties:

Greet patients upon arrival; answer phones; patient registration, check-in and check-out; insurance verification; appointment scheduling.

Direct visitors and vendors appropriately

Prepare and review patient charts including reminder calls and tele-med appointments.

Receive and distribute patient paperwork upon arrival.

Manage incoming faxes and referrals, distribute appropriately.

Collect co-payments and past due balances, responsible for cash handling.

Follow procedures for opening and closing of the office. Maintain the reception area.

Maintain a pleasant and cooperative demeanor while performing all duties.

Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED or equivalent previous experience.

Previous medical office experience is preferred but not required.

Experience and knowledge of insurance guidelines and insurance preferred.

Excellent customer service skills, ability to prioritize job duties and multi-task.
