A family residing in Lausanne, in the canton of Vaud, is seeking an experienced part-time nanny to care for their 8-month-old daughter. We are looking for the ideal candidate who will ensure the well-being of their child.

Start Date: May 2024

Languages required: Italian or English

Hours: 20 hours, twice a week, preferably on Mondays and Thursdays.

Main Responsibilities:

• Babysitting as per parents' requests
• Providing attentive care to an 8-month-old baby
• Attending to the child's daily needs, including feeding, changing, and nap schedules
• Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for the baby, including maintaining cleanliness and childproofing areas
• Engaging in age-appropriate developmental activities to stimulate the child's growth and learning

• Possession of a European/Swiss passport or valid Swiss work permit
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role as a nanny, preferably with infants
• Fluency in either Italian or English, with the ability to effectively communicate with both the child and parents
• Discretion, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding the family's personal affairs and information
• Basic knowledge of infant CPR and first aid is advantageous
• A genuine love for children and a patient, nurturing demeanor
