Part- Time Nurse, Primary School (EX)(2026-2027)-Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, Ellicott City MD

Our Lady of Perpetual Help School in Ellicott City, Maryland, is seeking a compassionate and qualified Part‑Time Registered School Nurse to serve on campus one day per week, with additional opportunities to substitute as needed throughout the school year. The ideal candidate is dedicated to supporting student health, safety, and well‑being in a warm, faith‑centered school community. 

The Part‑Time School Nurse provides direct care to students, manages daily health needs, and maintains accurate health records. This role supports a safe school environment by responding to illnesses and injuries, administering medications, and collaborating with staff and families regarding student health plans. This position will work 8 hours per week.  Substitute opportunities may be offered on additional days when coverage is needed.

Essential Functions

• Provide first aid, medical care, and emergency care services to students, faculty, and staff.


• Administer medications and treatments to students as ordered by students’ physicians.


• Assist in the collection and management of health forms.


• Create and maintain documentation of all encounters, assessments, and interventions.


• Serve as liaison between students, teachers and families in regards to health concerns.

Position Qualifications

• Current Maryland RN license - BSN preferred.


• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.


• Nursing experience in a high school setting.


• Current Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR/Basic Life Support certification.


• Ability to quickly and competently assess medical situations and escalate as needed.

Pay Range:  $26.00 - $30.00, Hourly
