Job Summary:
The payroll specialist duties and responsibilities include processing of weekly payroll, maintaining time keeping records, reviewing payroll and payroll reports for accuracy, and ensuring compliance with payroll laws & regulations.
Essential Functions:
Review time

sheets, time off request forms, wage computation, and other information to

detect and reconcile payroll

discrepancies.
Verify

attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto

designated records.
Compute wages

and deductions and enter data into the payroll system.
Reconcile

payroll before transmission and validate manual entries.
Process and

enter all garnishments, tax levies & child support orders.
Keep track of

leave time, such as vacation, personal, and sick leave, for employees.
Compile

employee time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other

records.
Issue and

record adjustments to pay related to previous errors or retroactive

increases.
Run weekly

payroll related reports for distribution to upper management.
Experience Required:
3+

years of experience in payroll
Experience

with ADP preferred, experience SyncHR/PrimePay is a plus
Proficient

with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong

verbal and written customer service skills.
Excellent

attention to detail, organizational & time management skills.
Additional Position Information:
Part Time; 16 hours per week on site
Work Schedule: Tuesdays &

Wednesday 8:00am - 4:00pm (paid meal break included)
Pay Range: $30.00-$35.00 p/h
