Part-Time Receptionist

Chapman Volkswagen in Scottsdale is seeking a flexible Part-Time Receptionist to join our dynamic team! The Receptionist is responsible for providing customer support in person and over the phone, and assisting with clerical tasks in between customers. The candidate selected for this role will support our customers and sales staff, and will report to the Customer Relations Manager.
Core Responsibilities:

Greet visitors as they arrive, provide general information and connect them with appropriate staff member for assistance

Manage a multi-line phone system, answering calls promptly and professionally and striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold

Communicate with customers and staff in a professional, friendly, and helpful manner

Sort files and documents alphabetically and according to content, dates, significance, etc. and create or update records with new files and information

Store all paperwork and documents in designated places, ensuring confidential information is safeguarded

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Previous receptionist or related experience is preferred, but not necessary

Great communicator; listens and conveys information effectively

Cooperative, helpful and connects with others seamlessly

Strong ability to multi task with high attention to detail

Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, etc.) preferred

Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Additional Details:

Compensation starts at $15 per hour

Open availability between 7am and 6pm Monday – Wednesday required; schedules will be provided a month in advance. Hours may vary.
