PART TIME SITTERS NEEDED - GILBERT

Compensation: $16-17 DOE & Position

Jovie of Phoenix is currently accepting applications from experienced, responsible, outgoing individuals for flexible babysitting positions. Sitter positions may be last-minute, date nights, church nursery shifts, weekend coverage or periodic care dates, depending on your availability. We are currently hiring in Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, and Tempe! What our sitters enjoy the most is flexible scheduling, choosing all their days off, and choosing all of the hours that they are available on their days on.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To be eligible for this position, an applicant must meet the following required qualifications.

· High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) prior to being hired

· One year of working with children in a learning environment or related experience

· Valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certificate (Or willing to be trained)

· Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (imperative for transporting yourself and possibly kids if needed)

· Background Check (Provided and Required)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Engage with children in various activities to ensure their well-being and development.

- Provide childcare services, including feeding and supervising playtime.

- Implement first aid procedures when necessary and ensure a safe environment.

- Utilize experience in nannying and toddler care to meet individual needs.

- Foster a nurturing and educational atmosphere through activities related to teaching and caregiving.

- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for extended periods of time, and physically able to move and engage with children, can hear, see and communicate effectively


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Must have 1 year of paid childcare experience

Ability to provide 3 childcare related references.

Must have experience working with ages 3MO - 12YO

AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS: Must be available 2-3 weekdays from 7AM-7PM!
