Parts Warehouse Associate

Platinum Ford – Terrell, TX

Platinum Ford is looking for a dependable, organized, and hardworking Parts Warehouse Associate to join our Parts Department.

Our Parts Department supports a busy automotive service operation, and this position plays an important role in keeping the shop moving. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, organizing, and pulling parts while helping ensure our technicians get the correct parts when they need them.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in being accurate, stays organized, and can keep up in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments


• Check shipments for correct quantities, part numbers, and damage


• Stock parts accurately in their assigned warehouse locations


• Pull and stage parts for repair orders and service technicians


• Deliver parts to technicians quickly and accurately


• Maintain an organized and accurate parts inventory


• Assist with perpetual inventory counts and cycle counts


• Process parts returns, cores, and warranty parts according to dealership procedures


• Identify inventory discrepancies and report them to Parts Management


• Maintain proper bin locations and warehouse organization


• Assist with shipping and receiving


• Assist the Parts Counter team when needed


• Keep the warehouse, aisles, and work areas clean and safe


• Follow all dealership safety procedures and company policies


• Perform other Parts Department duties as assigned

• Automotive parts or dealership experience is preferred but not required


• Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping, or receiving experience is a plus


• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Lift and carry parts weighing up to 50 pounds


• Stand and walk for extended periods


• Frequently bend, reach, squat, push, pull, and lift


• Safely use ladders, carts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as required


• Work in varying warehouse and shop temperatures

Schedule

• Full-time position


• Monday through Friday


• Rotating Saturday coverage
