Job Description - Partner Development Supervisor

Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Partner Development Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the strategy, execution, and optimization of Partner development and retention campaigns through email, mail and digital content marketing. This role plays a critical part in nurturing ministry Partners by developing comprehensive campaigns and programs that enhance their faith journey, strengthen their relationship with the ministry, and improve Partner retention.

Additionally, the Partner Development Supervisor will oversee and provide strategic direction to the Friend Development Strategist, ensuring alignment between Friend acquisition and Partner retention efforts. The role requires leadership, collaboration, and innovative thinking to drive the growth and engagement of both ministry Friends and Partners.

Partner Development Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Partner retention campaigns/ programs that minister the Word of Faith and support spiritual growth.
  • Identify key touchpoints in the Partner journey, including giving interactions, for meaningful engagement and ministry efforts.
  • Develop, measure, and optimize physical and email nurture programs to maximize Partner retention.
  • Develop and oversee call campaign strategy to Partners/Friends while collaborating with the Partner Service Team to align call activity with segment-specific campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Mail Distribution Team to ensure Partner mailings are accurate and timely.
  • Draft effective campaign and creative briefs to guide the development of high-quality campaign assets.
  • Coordinate campaign execution with creative, content and technical teams.
  • Work with Business Enterprise Team to analyze campaign/program performance and provide regular reports on effectiveness and improvements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of email, digital and direct mail marketing best practices.
  • Ensure all campaign efforts align with the ministry’s vision and mission.

Friend Development Oversight

  • Directly manages and provides strategic oversight and mentorship to the Friend Development Strategist.
  • Ensure synergy between Friend acquisition and Partner retention campaigns.
  • Guide the Friend Development Strategist in developing lead-generation strategies to acquire new ministry Friends.
  • Support the creation of email and direct mail campaigns to convert Friends into Partners.
  • Monitor and optimize Friend engagement and conversion metrics.
  • Collaborate on content strategies that build awareness and drive new ministry connections.
  • Align Friend and Partner campaign strategies for seamless audience transitions.

General Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Communications team and other ministry departments for Partner and Friend development initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and projects.
  • Communicate new campaign results to leadership and solicit feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee project management, ensuring objectives are met within set time, cost, and performance standards.
  • Provide thought leadership on innovative engagement strategies for ministry growth.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Continuing education in new media marketing techniques

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience: 

  • Experience in lead management 
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote and/or other project management software
  • Ability to handle deadline pressures professionally
  • Ability to motivate individuals to complete their portion of a project
  • Ability to create and present professional presentations 
  • Ability to articulate project direction and directives and follow ministry trends as well as market trends
  • Good working knowledge of conventional and electronic prepress and printing procedures
  • Good working knowledge of new media marketing techniques and social media marketing
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, understanding and utilize effective time management practices
  • Creative, analytical thinker, conscientious, consistent, progressive
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and accurate
  • Ability to think through situations and make responsible decisions
  • Ability to lead and creatively contribute to meetings
  • Must be a self-starter/assertive and extremely dependable
  • Ability to manage high volume of work and be able to switch job-to-job quickly, mentally and physically
  • Ability to take projects and walk them through all channels to completion
  • Must be capable of working independently with little supervision on assigned projects and meet deadlines
  • High level of maturity/confidentiality required
  • Deep understanding of Adobe art projects 

EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:

  • Mac or PC computer, comfortable chair

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Works in a normal office environment 

OTHER:

  • Born again believer and must adhere to this organization's doctrines as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives.
  • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension, difficulties and divisions
  • Must maintain a good attendance record
  • Membership and attendance at EMIC are preferred
  • Because of the wide range of personal contact with ministry leaders within and outside the organization, this position requires considerable diplomacy, maturity, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with people of all cultures
