Job Description - Partner Engagement Manager- Agencies

Description

The Partner Engagement Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with key strategic partners to drive growth and expand our partner ecosystem by collaborating with internal team members to identify new opportunities, manage the partner’s life cycle, and develop joint strategies. This role will oversee 2 Partner Engagement Coordinators, handling performance assessments, compliance documentation, and training for new and existing partners.

Requirements

  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership & Strategic Oversight

· Supervise and lead Partner Engagement Coordinators and the Site Visit Coordinator, including performance management, training, and professional development.

· Collaboratively develop and implement strategic plans for partners that align with organizational goals and Feeding America standards.

· Use discretion and judgment in resolving complex partner issues and designing scalable partner programs.

Capacity Building

· Design and implement strategic partner development initiatives to support food security expansion.

· Lead the recruitment and onboarding of partners across a 12-county service area, with a focus on equity and inclusion.

· Direct collaboration with Retail and Operations teams to optimize community partnerships.

Compliance & Program Management

· Ensure agency compliance with Feeding America, state, and internal guidelines through oversight of audits and site visits.

· Design and monitor partner capacity growth initiatives, including USDA/government food programs.

· Evaluate audit findings and take independent action to address deficiencies and mitigate risks.

Customer & Partner Relations

· Serve as the senior point of contact for technical, programmatic, and compliance-related partner concerns.

· Oversee implementation and troubleshooting of partner-facing platforms and tools, including Primarius and the Partner Portal.

· Represent the organization in community and partner-facing events as a subject matter expert.

Service Insights Leadership

· Manage the implementation and continuous improvement of Service Insights software and training systems.

· Exercise authority in budget planning and allocation of technology or grant resources supporting Service Insights.

· Direct the development of feedback loops, training evaluation, and system performance metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Lead collaborative projects with Development, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to enhance partner-related programs.

· Serve as a liaison across departments, ensuring alignment of shared goals and consistent messaging.

· Guide the agency team in using tools such as Tableau, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Suite to evaluate and communicate performance metrics.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.  Three or more years' experience in a non-profit setting is required. 

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent public speaking skills in a variety of settings
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred 
  • Must have excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building/interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral). 
  • Self-starter, work independently as well as work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to travel throughout the service area for meetings 
  • Ability to motivate others and foster an energizing, cooperative environment.
  • Must possess the ability to work under changing conditions yet remain tactful and professional 
  • Commitment to understanding and supporting CFB’s mission and demonstrating compassion and an understanding of food insecurity.
  • Experience with data collection and relationship building
  • Current SERV Safe certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
  • Proficiency in using databases and Microsoft Office Professional Suite. 
  • Valid Alabama driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
