Job Description - Parts Administrative Clerk

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with attention to detail, customer service orientation, and strong organizational skills to join our team as a Parts Administrative Clerk. We are a full-service equipment company specializing in industrial and construction equipment since 1956. More information about us can be found below or on our website at www.hugghall.com.




ABOUT THE POSITION


Parts Administrative Clerks function as part of the Parts Team and are responsible for inventory maintenance and billing within the Parts department, as well as backing up other parts roles.


In this role, you will:



  • Maintain the parts inventory by ordering parts from manufacturers and stocking them when received.

  • Process Order Records, including filing the invoices, purchase orders, and customer tickets.

  • Back-up for Parts Personnel to include filling in for Parts Sales staff

REQUIREMENTS



  • 1 year of clerical experience

  • Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills

  • General word processing skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent




SKILLS THAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS MAY INCLUDE:



  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Ability to accomplish duties with accuracy and timeliness




RELATED EXPERIENCE MAY INCLUDE: Warehouse Associate, Shipping/Receiving Clerk, Receptionist




PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS


This position:



  • This position is in an indoor office environment with a controlled climate.

  • This position requires sitting at a computer desk for long periods of time with constant use of a computer keyboard.

  • This position will continuously talk, hear, and read in verbal and written communication.

  • This position will continuously use hands to type.




[This position is deemed a Safety Sensitive job for purposes of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment, the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act and the Louisiana Therapeutic Marijuana Act.]
