Job Description - Parts Administrator (1650)

Are you a self-motivated Parts Coordinator looking to advance your career?  

If so, Kooner Fleet Management Solutions wants you to join our rapidly growing team! We are seeking a Parts Coordinator with 1-3 years of experience in automotive or heavy-duty truck parts purchasing. The Parts Administrator will work closely with the Fleet Asset Manager and field technicians and will be responsible for coordinating parts requests.

Compensation: $22-26/hr. 

 

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM 

What the Parts Coordinator role looks like:  

 

Parts Coordination:  

  • Ordering parts with select vendors required for repairs and service.  
  • Overseeing the shipment of replacement parts.   
  • Ensuring parts are readily available for maintenance and repairs.   
  • Tracking and confirming parts orders.   

Customer Service:  

  • Assisting technicians with finding the right parts for repairs.   
  • Monitors and fields emails and calls for parts requests. 
  • Maintaining and updating parts waiting list for clients 
  • Provides excellent internal customer service and resolves issues.   

 

What our ideal candidate looks like:   

  • Proven experience as a parts coordinator or similar role. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Strong knowledge of truck parts and components is highly desirable. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, inventory management software experience a plus. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 

 

Work Environment:  

  • Standard office setting.  
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.  
  • Must be able to sit for up to 4 hours at a time.
