Responsibilities  

• Sell parts over the counter to counter retail customers and technicians
• Handle telephone parts orders called in by retail accounts
• Promote additional parts sales by suggesting related items, seasonal lines, and/or parts specialists
• Conduct regular telephone solicitation on assigned accounts
• Clean, revise, and update parts displays as directed
• Inform customers when parts specially ordered for them are received
• Determine correct parts numbers and “pick” parts for orders received
• Arrange for delivery or shipment of parts as required
• Prepare and cost out parts invoices
• Help maintain parts stock in orderly condition
• Assist with regular parts inventories and the selection of parts for return under parts obsolescence protection program
• Assist in physical re-arrangement of layout
• Attend group training sessions as required
