About the Role
The Parts Specialist plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by providing accurate parts and accessory guidance, processing sales efficiently, and assisting customers across the Parts, Service, and Sales Departments.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with powersports, marine, or automotive parts
Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
Adaptable to new procedures and technologies
Strong problem-solving skills, able to diagnose issues and provide timely solutions
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office technology
Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
Greet every customer with a helpful, genuine, and professional demeanor
Answer incoming phone calls promptly, provide accurate information, and direct inquiries appropriately
Engage with customers in-person, over the phone, and via email to assist with parts inquiries and purchases
Accurately assist with parts sales for retail, service, and sales department needs
Recognize upselling opportunities and close on available in-store or special-order products
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers (both individual and commercial)
Notify customers of any order delays or backorders and provide timely updates
Parts & Inventory Management
Process and submit OEM and aftermarket vendor orders as directed by the Parts Manager
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory tasks to ensure stock accuracy
Accept and organize special orders and stock items efficiently
Maintain proper merchandising and product presentation in retail, stockroom, and warehouse areas
Ship and receive items as necessary
Operations & Administration
Ensure accurate data entry of customer information into the dealer management system
Maintain an organized and presentable workspace suitable for public interaction
Process end-of-day reports and maintain 100% cash drawer accuracy
Complete manufacturer training and certifications as required
Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and maintain a strong sense of responsibility

Requirements
High school diploma.
