Parts Advisor (Victor, NY)

Victor Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is growing our Parts team and looking for an experienced Parts Advisor, Chrysler experience a significant plus. Must be a highly organized and dedicated professional who takes pride in their work. We need an individual who will not only handle their own daily responsibilities but also help support the parts department, service team and provide customers with exceptional experiences. We are a busy department, so the ability to work a flexible schedule is a must.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assists service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process


• Sells parts to customers


• Pulls purchased parts from stock


• Fields phone calls, provides price quotes and other required information


• Keeps service department aware of special-order parts status


• May pick up ordered parts from outside vendors as necessary


• Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules


• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required


• 2+ years of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred


• Knowledge of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep & Ram automotive products STRONGLY preferred and given priority


• Valid NYS driver's license and clean driving record


• Must be able to work Saturdays


• Must be a highly dependable team player with a good work ethic


• Requires excellent customer service skills


• Neat, clean, and professional appearance


• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff


• Basic computer and internet skills

Physical Requirements

Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects (50+ pounds) as needed

Spends 50% of work-day standing or walking; 50% of work-day sitting
