At TransMaster Trailers, we have two hourly roles within the Parts Department; the role currently available is an entry level opportunity in this area of our operations.

Ever worked with an inventory system? or a parts system?

ROLE OVERVIEW:

To assist production with gathering parts and materials for Fab and Assembly.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Read prints to accurately gather parts needed for each job.

·         Familiarization with trailers, parts and part numbers

·         Assist in identifying interruptions in the production flow.

·         Assist the materials team in organization and inventory control

·         General shop cleanliness, work area, and material organization.

·         Gather necessary parts and materials for jobs in process for the production teams

·         Assist in implementing an inventory process for yearly inventory.

·         Some operation of a forklift, once trained with parts and parts prep for production needs.

the following are sample of daily and weekly routines, that will be required of this role.

Job Carts

·         Assisting Job Cart Builds When Needed

·         Unloading carts once the job is complete.

o    Tracking what parts are left on carts when the job is done

General House Keeping

·         Cleaning Parts and Stock areas

·         Organizing Old Parts, and Stock parts

·         Outside Parts Storage Organization

Receiving

·         Receiving Deliveries from Trucks

·         Keeping Track of where received parts are

·         Inspect Incoming parts for damage

·         Separate & Sort incoming parts per job

 Inventory

·         Stocking Incoming Parts

·         Bolt and Mechanical part Inventory Counting

·         Keeping Areas well organized and clean

Shipping

·         Preparing Parts for Shipping.

o    Banding

o    Shrink Wrap

·         Preparing Parts for Outsourcing.

o    Banding

This is not a warehouse position; parts manaagement experience is key.
