Parts & Inventory Specialist

Summary:
Esposito Construction is seeking a detail-oriented Equipment Parts Coordinator to support our heavy civil construction operations. This role manages the procurement, tracking, and inventory of parts for heavy equipment, diesel trucks, and company vehicles, ensuring equipment uptime and efficient project

• Pay: Flexible, experience based $65-85k DOE

Responsibilities:

• Source and order parts for heavy equipment, diesel trucks, and light-duty vehicles.


• Identify cost-effective vendors and deals while maintaining quality standards.


• Track incoming orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.


• Maintain accurate records of parts usage, including installation dates and equipment assigned.


• Organize and manage parts inventory to prevent shortages.


• Assist with inventory reporting, reordering, and recordkeeping.


• Collaborate with operators, mechanics, and project managers to anticipate parts needs.


• Ensure safe handling and storage of parts according to company procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or logistics training a plus.


• Experience in parts procurement, inventory management, or heavy equipment support preferred.


• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.


• Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines effectively.


• Comfortable using computers and software for ordering, tracking, and reporting.


• Basic knowledge of heavy equipment, diesel engines, and mechanical components preferred.


• Strong communication and vendor management skills.
