Job Summary

The Parts Associate will be responsible for researching and acquiring a variety of parts associated with our business.

Key Job Responsibilities

• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH CONSTRUCTION, INDUSTRIAL, AND/OR AGRICULTURAL PARTS!!!
• Research Material Handling Equipment parts to fulfill customer needs.
• Maintain inventory levels.
• Assist customers and technicians for their parts related needs.
• Help identify, source and order parts for forklifts and warehouse related products.
• Research and prepare customer quotes and process the paperwork as necessary.
• Pull orders and place stock orders.
• Manage inventory control which includes: Cycle Counts in Stockroom; Van Inventories; and Receive Stock.
• Deliver parts in the field when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Experience with Inventory Control processes is preferred.
• Experience with forklift parts, overhead commercial doors, loading dock levelers and other related warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Experience in a customer service environment. At least 2 years preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, technology driven, service environment.
• Proven organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Basic knowledge of mathematical skills or accounting processes.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Products: Outlook; Excel; and Word.
• Able to work without supervision. Occasionally, will work in a team environment.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs and across remote offices.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Employees must maintain a high level of self-awareness about their surroundings due to the high level of high voltage AC/DC power in the work environment.

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work is performed in various locations including warehouses. Employees may work with co-workers’ side-by-side with a moderate level of activity being performed. Exposure to high voltage AC/DC power is very common in many work environments. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.
