Job Types: Full Time

Location: Ability to commute daily to Dallas, TX.

Availability required: Must be available Monday – Friday; 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and one to two Saturdays per month 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Bane Machinery, Inc. has an immediate need for a Parts Associate for their Parts Department supporting the Heavy Equipment Industry. This role would provide customer support for the sale and fulfillment of parts orders for internal and external customers.

Basic Responsibilities:

•   Ordering parts for customers, ensuring accuracy of the order and following up until parts are delivered to the customer
•   Responding promptly to customer phone calls and inquiries to fulfill customers’ needs
•   Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
•   Keeping parts and service manuals and reference materials organized for easy access
•   Demonstrating proactive communication with internal and external customers regarding parts order timing and receiving
•   Ensuring all quantities of parts are accurately and timely received and shipped based on customers’ needs

•   Ability to communicate effectively, utilizing both verbal and writing skills.
•   Demonstrates effective communication, interpersonal skills, organizational ability
•   Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use and adapt to new technology systems and tools
•   Knowledge of heavy equipment industry, construction machinery parts, or related field
•   Ability to follow and interpret OEM documentation via various manufacturer websites and systems  
•   Must be able to speak, read and write the English language
•   Must be available to work some overtime and one to two Saturdays per month, to accommodate business needs

Education

• HS Diploma or GED (Required)
• 6 months to 1-year previous parts experience, preferably in the construction machinery field
• Trade or Technical School, mechanically inclined (Preferred)
• Must pass MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) background check and have a valid State issued Driver License

Experience

• Ability to navigate and understand parts breakdowns to order parts correctly: 1+ years (preferred)
• Customer service: 1+ years
• Microsoft Office suite, other technology and systems: 1+ years
