Job Title: Parts Coordinator

Department: Racing / Parts 

Reports To:  Parts Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Location: Murrieta, CA

SUMMARY

Parts Coordinator for KTM North America Racing Program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Forecasting parts demand for a complete race season

· close communication with mechanics about parts supplies

· Parts ordering process through ERP software.

· Coordinating parts orders and tracking incoming parts

· Picking parts orders for race teams

· Warehouse inventory counting

Requirements

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:  Experience in parts planning, organization and knowledge about motorcycles and parts would be preferred. Other required experience includes: 

· Knowledge in working with an ERP system.

· Microsoft Word, Excel skills

· Excellent organization skills

· Ability to plan and forecast ahead.

· Passion about the motorcycle industry

· Good communication skills

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

CONTACTS: 

Internal: race teams, finance, warehouse

External: external race teams

JUDGEMENT/REASONING ABILITY: Ability to recognize discrepancies and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise, and diplomacy. Requires ability to use judgment and reasoning skills and determine when issues need to be escalated.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands and fingers, bend, stoop and reach with hands and arms. 

Ability to lift-up to 70 pounds 15% daily

Able to sit at a desk and use/view computer 60% daily

Able to hear and speak into a telephone 5% daily

Able to stand, bend, stoop, twist 20% daily

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise in the work environment is usually moderate. Other factors are:

  • Hectic, fast-paced with multi-level distractions.
  • Professional, yet casual office work environment.
  • Ability to work extended hours as required.

Required Pre-Hire Screenings:

· Criminal - Felony and Misdemeanor 7 Years

· National Criminal Data Base 7 Years

· Social Security Verification

· National Sex Offender

· NDOT or DOT Drug Screen per job requirement
