Job Summary

Crain Chevrolet of Little Rock is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Counter professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with their parts needs, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient parts sales operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner at the parts counter.


• Identify and locate parts requested by customers, using parts catalogs and computer systems.


• Process parts orders accurately and efficiently, including sales transactions and invoicing.


• Maintain organized and accurate inventory records, including receiving and stocking parts.


• Communicate with service technicians and other departments to fulfill parts requirements.


• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers to meet their needs.


• Ensure the parts counter area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.


• Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts as needed.


• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to parts orders or availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field preferred.


• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and terminology.


• Excellent customer service and communication skills.


• Ability to use computer systems and parts catalog software effectively.


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.


• Basic math skills for processing sales and inventory management.
