Parts Counter Associate

We are currently a hiring full-time Parts Counter Associate. Any level of experience is welcome to apply!

Your New Role: 

• Answer phone calls from customers and technicians in a professional manner.
• Work with the customer or technician to determine the best course of action in ordering the necessary parts to complete the order. 
• Provide a price quote and product availability to the customer.
• Offer any additional items that could be needed to better complete the job.
• Take and process orders by entering them into the Atlas Business System.
• Pull available inventory for shipping.
• Follow up on any open orders that haven’t arrived or haven’t been picked up by the customer.
• Process any returns by customers.
• Assist in any warehouse process when needed. This includes pulling orders, unloading and shipping of products, and other various general warehouse functions.
• This position will deliver parts when needed.
• Other tasks as assigned. 

Requirements

What You’ll Need to Succeed: 

• Must maintain and have a valid Illinois driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Office products a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Forklift experience preferred, will be required to maintain a forklift operator permit.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs. unassisted.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• This position requires but is not limited to standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting to 80 lbs., routinely 20-50 lbs.
