Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Parts Person to join our team at our CDJR (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram) dealership. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of dealership experience and be proficient in using CDK DMS (Dealer Management System). The Parts Person will be responsible for managing and organizing the parts inventory, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  Inventory Management:

  
  
  
  
  • Maintain accurate records of parts inventory.
  
  
  • Conduct regular stock checks and audits.
  
  
  • Ensure all parts are properly stored and labeled.
  
  
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder parts as needed.

  Order Processing:

  
  
  
  
  • Receive and process parts orders from customers and technicians.
  
  
  • Verify availability and order status using the CDK DMS system.
  
  
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts to the service department and customers.
  
  
  • Handle returns and exchanges efficiently.

  Customer Service:

  
  
  
  
  • Assist customers and technicians in identifying and sourcing required parts.
  
  
  • Provide pricing and availability information.
  
  
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  
  
  • Foster positive relationships with customers and suppliers.

  Documentation and Reporting:

  
  
  
  
  • Maintain detailed records of all transactions and orders.
  
  
  • Generate and review reports on inventory status, sales, and orders.
  
  
  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies and procedures.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dealership environment, preferably within a CDJR dealership.


• Proficient in using CDK DMS systems.


• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and inventory management.


• Excellent customer service and communication skills.


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.


• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in automotive parts management or a related field.


• Familiarity with CDJR vehicle models and parts.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position.


• Work hours may include evenings and weekends.


• Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying heavy parts, and working in various weather conditions.
