Are you an experienced automotive parts professional looking for a new opportunity? Jim Shorkey Wexford Kia is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Parts Counterperson to support our growing team. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient parts operations and top-notch service for both our technicians and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Parts Manager to locate and source parts not currently in inventory
• Handle special orders for customer-requested parts
• Manage the full parts sales process—from customer inquiry to invoicing
• Use CDK scanner to process daily parts orders
• Pull and distribute parts for technicians and front counter staff
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure proper stocking procedures
• Perform parts lookups and assist with retail customer needs
• Keep parts department organized and materials properly stored

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Strong understanding of inventory and receiving processes
• Comfortable using phones for internal and customer communication
• Basic computer proficiency (training provided for dealership systems)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dealership parts department
