Job Summary:

Chris Auffenberg Kia is currently seeking a Full Time Parts Counterperson to join our dynamic team in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for cars and the auto industry, who has an aptitude for sales and customer service. The Parts Counterperson will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurately selling and inventorying parts, and assisting customers with their parts needs. Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Accurately identify and locate parts for customers, both in person and over the phone
- Process parts orders, payments, and returns
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department
- Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of parts at all times
- Collaborate with other departments across the dealership to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
- Stay updated on new products and services to make informed recommendations to customers
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and goals
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

- Previous parts sales or customer service experience in the auto industry is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Proficient in using computer systems and software programs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
