Parts Counter Duties Include:

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.


• Communicate with customers on the parts status.


• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.


• Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers.


• Ability to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.


• Answers phone calls, provide price quotes, and other information.


• Review body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.


• Pull and fills orders from stock.


• Maintain and ensure the accuracy of stock.


• Notify parts managers of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.


• Locates out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submits an emergency order, if necessary.


• Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.


• Receives payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.


• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.


• Automotive Parts Sales experience (preferred)


• Eligible to work in the United States and provide work authorization documents.


• Required to consent to a pre employment background check.


• Have experience with DealerTrack DMS (preferred)


• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.


• Possess strong organizational and time management skills.


• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.


• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  
  
  

Business Hours of Operation:

Our Service and Parts Department is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays.
