Parts Counterperson

The ideal candidate will provide outstanding customer service to both retail and wholesale customers while supporting our service department with timely and accurate parts fulfillment.

Responsibilities:

  Assist retail, wholesale, and internal service customers with identifying and purchasing automotive parts and accessories.

  Accurately process parts orders, invoices, returns, and credits.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain an organized parts inventory and ensure parts are properly stocked and labeled.

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with service advisors and technicians to fulfill repair orders efficiently.

  
  


• 
  

  Answer incoming phone calls and respond to parts inquiries in a professional manner.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or special-order needs.

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate records.

  
  


• 
  

  Keep the parts department clean, organized, and customer-focused.

  
  


• 
  

  Follow all dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Previous automotive parts experience preferred; Toyota experience is a plus.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong customer service and communication skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to identify automotive parts using electronic catalogs and dealership management systems.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  Basic computer proficiency.

  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

  Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
