Salary Range:

• $42,000.00 - $60,000.00 annually
• Eligible for bonus program.

Job Responsibilities:

• Stock and sell parts and accessories to the retail customer.
• Maintain the retail parts store and provide customer service to all incoming customers to the retail parts store.
• Plan, prepare and maintain retail parts store displays.
• Sell parts over the counter to retail customers and dispense parts to shop personnel when the tech part specialist is not available.
• Solicit customers for parts sales using phone, direct mail, etc.
• Make sure that all parts sales are accounted for immediately, either as a parts sale or billed to a repair order.
• Assist the shipping and receiving department in the receiving, counting and stocking of all incoming merchandise and shop supplies as necessary.
• Fill propane tanks for retail customers as required.
• Seek out and investigate new prospective products for the parts and accessory store.
• Maintain a level of product knowledge necessary to market retail store products to prospective customers.
• Learn and understand the duties of fellow parts personnel in order to provide backup as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and professional parts desk, parts counter and parts department.

Position Requirements:

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience,
• Ability to produce parts and accessories sales that meet established sales and gross margin objectives and satisfy both internal and external needs,
• Effectively assist customers in making the best parts and accessories buying decisions while maintaining high customer satisfaction and loyalty,
• Professionally participate in the maintenance and selection of parts and accessories in order to maintain an accurate, profitable and desirable inventory that meets customer needs.
