Parts Driver

About Us:

Optimum RV is a top-tier dealership dedicated to providing our customers with exceptional recreational vehicles and service. We are currently looking for a reliable and punctual Parts Driver to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers and service department receive the parts and accessories they need promptly.

Responsibilities:

The Parts Driver will play a crucial role in our operations. Key duties include:

• Keep parts department up-to-date on delivery schedule;
• Maintain cleanliness and operability of delivery vehicle;
• Obeys all traffic laws and follows established traffic procedures;
• Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures;
• Observe and report customer information, including customer buying habits and competitive intrusion;
• Fill customer orders and ready them for delivery;
• Verifies the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers;
• Load Parts vehicle in a safe manner, securing all items in the vehicle;
• Retrieve parts returns and report them to Parts Manager or responsible Parts Associate;
• Presents bill and receipts and collects payment for goods delivered or loaded;
• Pick up parts and equipment from customers, dealerships, and vendors per;
• Follow all delivery and pick-up processes and protocol to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Minimum Qualifications:

·        Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

·        Previous experience as a driver or in a similar role is preferred.

·        Knowledge of the local area and efficient driving routes.

·        Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

·        Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers.

·        High school diploma or equivalent.
